The Challenge
Pharmaceutical buyers may need to source products that are not standardized or available in a static catalog. Supplier conversations and quotation versions can become fragmented, making comparison and purchasing difficult.
Product information may also arrive through documents or images rather than structured data, creating additional catalog-entry work.
The Solution
Xupyter built a multi-sided procurement platform connecting verified buyers and suppliers. Buyers can browse supplier catalogs or create RFQs, suppliers can respond and revise quotations, and buyers can compare offers before selecting suppliers and creating purchase orders.
The platform includes organization verification, supplier catalog management, OCR-assisted catalog import, multi-language support, procurement workflows, delivery tracking, and AI-assisted quotation recommendations.

How It Works
A buyer can search existing catalogs or create an RFQ. Suppliers respond with offers, including revisions. The buyer compares offers using relevant criteria, selects suppliers, creates purchase orders, and tracks fulfillment. Supplier catalog information can be extracted from images or PDFs using OCR and AI-assisted processing.
