Overview
A customer-facing ecommerce layer for a signage manufacturer, connected to the internal operational system behind the business.
The Challenge
The business previously handled orders through manual communication and shared information. Customers had limited self-service access to products, while product catalogs were maintained separately from the operational workflow.
The Solution
Xupyter built a complete product storefront with catalog browsing, product customization, guided ordering, guest checkout, and PayPal payments. The storefront was connected to the internal operations platform so customer orders could continue into the business workflow.
The site also uses a CMS so business users can manage content and site information without development work.
Key Capabilities
- Product catalog
- Product customization
- Guided ordering
- Guest checkout
- PayPal integration
- CMS
- Order synchronization
- AI-assisted ordering
How It Works
Customers browse the catalog, configure the required product dimensions and options, submit an order or quotation request, and complete payment where applicable. The resulting order enters the connected internal workflow for fulfillment.
Impact
The project created a customer-facing commerce layer connected directly to the operations behind every order, replacing a largely manual ordering experience with structured online commerce.
